the representative majority of on-air former players/coaches is a clown show. it's really quite amazing that so many people who were part of the game at the highest level talk in the most banal terms possible.

hot take syndrome, coach-speak platitudes, and a bunch of lame jokes about "back in the day when I was on the field...". they are by and large terrible analysts.
