Whatever the 2017 Minnesota Twins were, a team whose manager comically tripped over his own dick was not one of them. Paul Molitor did not take this team and run it into the side of a mountain because somebody had painted a train tunnel there. Paul Molitor did not start cleaning his blunderbuss, only to have it discharge accidentally, leaving his face a sooty mess and his beak on the wrong side of his head. Paul Molitor did not fall in love with a black cat with a white stripe which he wrongly believed was a skunk.
Tory Luvullo won in the NL. Molitor beat Francona, Hinch, and Gerardi, in that order.
None of these men hit any doubles or recorded any outs.
