Ky rules are a bit unfair to Eric because Eric is really a short term quality starter as his best role. Ky goes down in NBA history whereas Eric is just a good player that can be great if placed in the right situation.

I doubt he’d stick around in Phoenix after that. I think their best bet is to suck and hit on the right high pick. They’d still be bad with Kyrie, but they’d win a little more and hurt their lottery chances, and then he’d bounce anyway.
