Kim Chancellor is not altering the course of any franchise. He is a really, really good player and an important leader on that team. He is not Ed Reed or Ronnie Lott, he's Joey Browner or Steve Atwater. The transformative player on the back end is Earl Thomas. He is the straw.

They should have won at least two and they shouldn't be out the playoffs and looking like a team teetering on the edge of a rebuild.
