he does the "average one quarter, world-beater another" thing all the time. yes, absolutely part of the personnel -- mentioned above about Lynch bailing out the team -- but he's also the franchise quarterback.

Russ threw 26(!) of his season touchdowns in the second halves of games; 19 of those 26 in the fourth quarter. only 8 TD passes in the first halves. he is *part* of the issues for sure.
