2622845, cfb saturday
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Sep-16-17 11:58 AM
okie st. is not fucking around this year
2622846, Nebraska has a first half problem
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 12:02 PM
gave up 42 points to Oregon in the first half last week

down 14-0 to Northern Illinois in the 2Q right now
2622847, QB just got obliterated, fumbled, NIU ball in the red zone
Posted by HecticHavoc, Sat Sep-16-17 12:11 PM
edit: guess they overruled it. but to your point the Nebraska offense is a disaster so far
2622848, Oklahoma St vs Oklahoma is going to be entertaining
Posted by HecticHavoc, Sat Sep-16-17 12:12 PM
Cowboys offense is precise. best aerial attack of any team i've seen this year.
2622849, yep, could be the game of the year
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Sep-16-17 12:15 PM
okie st is the most efficient offense I've seen since oregon in their prime
2622850, lol, these receivers are unreal
Posted by HecticHavoc, Sat Sep-16-17 12:19 PM
Washington with consecutive next level receptions. Rudolph has 334 yards and 4 TDs and there is 6min left in the 2nd qtr and as i type this Hill the RB jukes 5 defenders for a TD.
2622851, Memphis v UCLA been better than I've expected so far
Posted by MaxPtah, Sat Sep-16-17 01:01 PM
2622852, This Memphis-UCLA game is pretty good
Posted by calij81, Sat Sep-16-17 01:02 PM
Ferguson is playing as well as Rosen.
2622872, Memphis is so lit right now
Posted by Ray_Snill, Sat Sep-16-17 04:06 PM
Central is full of people just partying on the streets

2622853, UCLA really has no running game this season
Posted by calij81, Sat Sep-16-17 01:04 PM
Their offense will go as far as Rosen can carry it.
2622855, new Memphis uni's are legit
Posted by HecticHavoc, Sat Sep-16-17 01:38 PM
Miller is torching this secondary
2622857, I agree, I really like their new uniforms
Posted by calij81, Sat Sep-16-17 01:42 PM
Rosen is also torching that Memphis secondary.
2622854, Kevin Sumlin is trying to get fired today
Posted by calij81, Sat Sep-16-17 01:18 PM
2622864, Thankfully they came back.
Posted by obsidianchrysalis, Sat Sep-16-17 02:51 PM
They might have found a running back too.
2622858, Mike Reiley is a dead man walking, right?
Posted by calminvasion, Sat Sep-16-17 02:26 PM
I'm a Purdue fan and ar this point I'll be disappointed if we lose to Nebraska at home
2622860, even tho NIU looks like a good team, that was abysmal
Posted by HecticHavoc, Sat Sep-16-17 02:28 PM
i dont want to blame the protection, bc the QB was just AWFUL. held on to the ball way too long. Braska defense honestly played solid dealing with 2 pick 6's in the first half.
2622861, i thought they had just extended his contract to 2020?
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Sep-16-17 02:44 PM
the hire made no sense to begin with so may as well keep the train rolling.
2622859, DUKE UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL
Posted by Frank Longo, Sat Sep-16-17 02:27 PM
2622862, chosen rosen
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Sep-16-17 02:44 PM
gotdamn that was a horrible int
2622865, lmao@ memphis' coach
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Sep-16-17 02:59 PM
wtf is that dude thinking
2622866, thats a big win *for memphis*
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Sep-16-17 03:25 PM
normally deflating an overhyped ucla team isnt much of an accomplishment, but post-Fuente thats something to put a new stamp on things

i want that whole conference to be good SO badly
2622868, Watching Mizzou and focusing on the defense for the first time
Posted by obsidianchrysalis, Sat Sep-16-17 03:29 PM
I'm a Mizzou fan and mostly notice the offense, but after watching this game it's clear how poorly disciplined this defense is.

Plenty of missed tackles. Giving up chunk plays. For example, after giving up a 40 yard TD off of a bubble screen (which was called back because of a hold), the defense gives up a TD on the same basic call, just on the other half of the field.

Mind you, this is after Odom fired the DC last Monday. That was controversial because while the former DC obviously collaborated with Odom on the calls, Odom was calling the defense this year and had been since last year.

It's odd that the defense is struggling so much given that the defense was pretty stout when Odom was the DC under Pinkel.
2622870, Total yards through 10 Min of the 1st qtr
Posted by obsidianchrysalis, Sat Sep-16-17 03:37 PM
Purdue - 208
MIZ - 17
2622871, No Jinxo, but 21-0. Brohm is a god!
Posted by calminvasion, Sat Sep-16-17 03:51 PM
How the hell did we get him. Only saving grace is were are paying him a shitload

Also Blough is a really good QB. If he was 2" taller he we would have a chance to play on Sundays
2622873, Although our defense is all types of bad
Posted by obsidianchrysalis, Sat Sep-16-17 04:19 PM
The QB's of Purdue have looked good. Brohm's turned them around really quickly.
2622875, I know SEC defenses are great but Florida and Tennessee appear
Posted by calij81, Sat Sep-16-17 04:38 PM
To have very bad offenses. Especially Florida.
2622876, been this way since tebow left, sad to say
Posted by dillinjah, Sat Sep-16-17 04:44 PM
>To have very bad offenses. Especially Florida.
2622906, UT-UF went from HBO PPV fight
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 10:25 PM
to a fucking Wal-Mart brawl
2622880, Brohm making Hazell look all sorts or terrible
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Sep-16-17 05:47 PM
what a turnaround
2622881, I love CFB!! What a finish to this Florida-Tennessee game!!
Posted by calij81, Sat Sep-16-17 06:08 PM
Sorry Will.

Wow, what a fucking finish and great 4th quarter.

Florida offense finally comes alive to score some TDs.
2622882, chaos in the swamp
Posted by HecticHavoc, Sat Sep-16-17 06:09 PM
that ball was LAUNCHED
2622883, That hail mary notwithstanding, my gators are still trash. Thankfully the...
Posted by dillinjah, Sat Sep-16-17 06:14 PM
vols are worse.
2622890, Jim McElwain is so happy he is in the same division
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 07:31 PM
as Butch Jones. what a shitstain of a performance.
2622893, SEC L(east).
Posted by dillinjah, Sat Sep-16-17 08:04 PM
2622950, Anyone ever fired after 3 straight division titles?
Posted by bshelly, Sun Sep-17-17 08:47 AM
Because he should be.
2622884, Tennessee just keeps finding new and creative ways to lose to Florida
Posted by calij81, Sat Sep-16-17 06:18 PM
2622891, Butch Jones Era: Just Good Enough to Get Your Hopes Up
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 07:42 PM
fucking hell this guy.

Jones and the OC Larry Scott deserve the pitchforks. you have the best player on the field in John Kelly, and these two bumbling idiots decide Tennessee is going to win the game on the arm of Quinten Dormady. 40 goddamn pass attempts? 19 rush attempts?!!

seven plays inside the Florida nine-yard line and they didn't give Kelly a single fucking carry?!

Butch Jones is just not good enough. his shit coaching is the main reason Tennessee has lost three out of four to Florida during his tenure, because the Vols have had more talent the entire time.

he can leave anytime now.
2622892, Kelly is a stud. this was the game to give him 30 carries
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Sep-16-17 07:59 PM
Detroit!
2622897, painfully obvious to the entire world, minus Coach Butch Jones
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 08:41 PM
first and goal at the one? time to go shotgun and have Quinten Dormady let it rip!!!
2622951, Did you really have your hopes up this year?
Posted by bshelly, Sun Sep-17-17 08:48 AM
I mean, everyone had to know the deal with Dooley after he fucked up last year.
2622956, Lmao, I meant jones.
Posted by bshelly, Sun Sep-17-17 10:31 AM
I'm so old.
2622898, that FSU game from last year looks further and further away each week
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Sep-16-17 08:57 PM
Lamar is gonna have to WIN something at some point
2622907, he won't repeat
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 10:30 PM
my real takeaway from watching Clemson the last two weeks is they have a NFL front four playing in college
2622899, Darnold's pro hype might be louder than Luck's was by May
Posted by Tiger Woods, Sat Sep-16-17 09:00 PM
2622904, he's legit. I am rarely a fan of college quarterback as NFL prospects
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 10:15 PM
but he's the best since Luck for sure.
2622909, after I post this, Darnold is literally trying to give the game away
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 10:37 PM
2622901, could be a long year for Orgeron & LSU
Posted by dillinjah, Sat Sep-16-17 09:18 PM
just completely worked by Miss St
2622902, It was an emotional hire, therefore a bad hire
Posted by calij81, Sat Sep-16-17 10:08 PM
Coach O is a 8 win ceiling coach at LSU.
2622903, see: Hoke, Brady
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Sep-16-17 10:13 PM
2622905, surprise of the night. no real feelings about Orgeron either way
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 10:18 PM
but he did hire two respected coordinators on both sides of the ball, he himself is a hell of a d-line coach, and the program is full of talent.
2622908, whoa. Vandy beat Kansas State?
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 10:31 PM
good thing they stuck with Mason
2622910, Yo how many running backs Clemson got shit!!
Posted by b2thej, Sat Sep-16-17 10:47 PM
2622922, Sam Ehlinger aka Johnathan Moxon
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Sep-16-17 11:12 PM
2622923, only in CFB
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 11:13 PM
got to love it
2622925, i hate the spike there
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Sep-16-17 11:16 PM
and i really hate Ut burning that timeout.

cmon yall. dude is a heisman candidate... get a play in.
2622926, i meant the 1st one...2nd spike was fine
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Sep-16-17 11:17 PM
2622929, I thought it was OK
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 11:23 PM
they had a ways to go at that point, so they weren't even thinking about saving a down...and the clocked stopped almost immediately

only part that was cringey was when USC #4 nearly tackled himself inbounds on that long catch
2622924, theoretically...
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Sep-16-17 11:14 PM
this team has the talent to compete for the B12 right?
2622935, are these Pac-12 refs?
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 11:41 PM
because they have been amazing. made some huge calls and no-calls from the 4Q on, nearly all correct. refs this good is some bodysnatchers shit for the Pac-12.
2622936, forward progress was stopped
Posted by J_Stew, Sat Sep-16-17 11:44 PM
not that it matters much because 41-38 when it counted
2622937, NCAA must've had a meeting about that this offseason
Posted by will_5198, Sat Sep-16-17 11:46 PM
because I've seen refs from all games let piles go on forever. I personally hate to see it because it's a big injury risk.
2622938, I've always thought letting players strip the ball from the ball carrier
Posted by J_Stew, Sat Sep-16-17 11:51 PM
when their teammates are holding him up is one of the cheapest things in sports. If you're the tackler and you can strip them, strip away, but a dude shouldn't be able to come over to a pile and rip the ball out in a non-football move.

But hey, is what it is.
2622941, Calij what is w Cals brick breaker end zone?
Posted by HecticHavoc, Sun Sep-17-17 12:10 AM
It's gotta mean something bc it doesn't have symmetrical design but what are they going for here?
2623297, the stadium straddles a major fault line
Posted by Wonderl33t, Wed Sep-20-17 03:29 PM
That might be it

2622955, bama doesn't look good on d.
Posted by tariqhu, Sun Sep-17-17 10:15 AM
gave up 400 yards to a mountain west team. don't think they could beat clemson or OK right now.
2622992, is USC even good?
Posted by will_5198, Sun Sep-17-17 05:10 PM
struggled against Western Michigan (1-2). their "big win" was against Stanford (1-2), who just lost to San Diego State. double OT against Texas (1-2).

have I mentioned they haven't even played a road game yet?
2623021, would be nice to see them go up against oregon or wash
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sun Sep-17-17 08:49 PM
in the regular season

as it stands their 2 biggest hurdles appear to be @Wazzou and @ND

meh
2623022, They're good but Darnold has to put them on his back.
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sun Sep-17-17 09:28 PM
2623028, he's as special as the rest of the team is run-of-the mill
Posted by Tiger Woods, Mon Sep-18-17 09:06 AM
There's dozens of teams with the exact same complexion as that team without Darnold - talent, coaching, homefield advantage. Nothing about them appears unique... except for the quarterback who's stunning.
