To this day, you'll see the occasional angry tweet from Duke/UK/KU/whatever fans saying "you should stay in school!" for a variety of selfish and misguided reasons. It's second only to the fans who wish ill onto kids when they choose other schools to attend. It's all idiocy. Has been since the dawn of time.

Even Duke fans at the time thought that email was snooty and out of touch. Luckily, Brand still has a great relationship with K and the university, and dumbass "fans" like that woman didn't fuck that up.
