2606994, The individual comparison is kind of dumb

He outplayed Conley in both series, one loss and one win. He outplayed Parker but then the writer says Well, don't look at individual comparisons on this one.

He couldn't shut down Russ in 2014 but let's ignore that Durant averaged 33 that series while Griffin averaged 23. In the elimination Game 6, CP3 hassled Russ into 26% shooting while dropping 25/7/11 on 50% shooting himself and carried the Clippers in the 4th while Griffin did little while dealing with foul trouble and eventually fouled out.

The Warriors series was the passing of the torch to Steph but can you imagine if Paul shot 41% in game 7, scored only three buckets in the second half, while his team blew a lead and lost the series? People would be KILLING him for it. (Luckily for Steph, Klay Thompson was the scapegoat that series.)

It's funny that these are the games the guy chose to look at because they're some of Chris's best elimination games.

In the end, Chris was the best PG in the NBA for some time. That time has passed. The clutch angle is debatable because he had more bad games than good in Game 7s.
