I was ready to break in on the ground floor with a blog and everything. The Pond is close to me and I work there a lot anyway. The Clippers used to play portions of their schedule and I saw them play there once, fittingly against the Kings. It is a very functional arena. No bells and whistles or great concessions but they picked materials that aged well and the sight lines are perfect for hockey and good for everything else. Literally not a bad seat in the house. It's a good thing they did a good job because it's one of the older buildings around now (built in like 1992 for the 93/94 season) and they sure as hell aren't building a new arena any time soon
