i admitted there was a slim chance.
boston would have to crash and burn (hence his firing) and we would have to hire an interim for the upcoming season while conducting a search all season long
Gene Smith said no interims and he is looking to make a permanent hire in the next few days (i have a feeling hes already reached out to the replacement and come to an understanding)
