Look at his Roster. he's immediately able to plug Pau in as his best big with dual Flexibility. I mean for cyring out loud he's holding 4 C only players.
kawhi doesnt replace hardens production but as a G his 1.3 or whatever it is--is still top 10
Or if you want you can move him to F
Then you get a G who over the last 20 is at 1.11 which is pretty respectable for a guy who could be his 3rd G
Is it a slam dunk for him? No. But its not an absolute slam dunk for me either.
I would lose major flexibility and if any of my other Gs and or Fs went down to injury there would be a hole Id have to fill.
Right now with my roster I can pretty much lose a guy at any position and still be in about the same shape save for Kawhi and I value that a lot
