From a Jets fan!
Real talk: Mallet balled his ass off today. I can't believe he thoroughly outplayed Big Ben today

As bad as this season has been.. Get the W and worry about the draft later. Especially against Pissburg

2505646, As much as I hate Pitt, I wanted the draft spot. Posted by Creole, Tue Dec-29-15 11:36 AM
To hell with the W.
When I heard that Mallett was starting, I knew then that we were going for the win as opposed to tanking.

2505651, I'm not mad about the draft spot Posted by Overqualified, Tue Dec-29-15 11:53 AM
There's no one available that I think can immediately help us, plus there's no such thing as a sure thing in the draft. Too unpredictable.
|
2505691, I don't care about immediate help more than I am Posted by Creole, Tue Dec-29-15 03:00 PM
concerned about building a quality stable of talent. I'd rather be in the top 5 of the draft than the bottom five of the draft. And if Ozzie and team are creative enough this offseason, they could trade some of the comp picks for better draft position other rounds.
I'm thinking about us building over the course of a year or two before really being back in contention on a yearly basis. Top OL, LBs, DBs, and WRs...

2505444, how did yall stop that passing attack? Posted by Deebot, Mon Dec-28-15 01:12 PM

2505486, Deep cover 2 Posted by Beezo, Mon Dec-28-15 02:39 PM
Blanket.. No big plays over the top.. Take a PI if necessary .
|
2505491, doesn't that open up slot routes? Posted by Deebot, Mon Dec-28-15 03:18 PM
Brown can do both...

2505495, they also kicked Ben's ass Posted by Dstl1, Mon Dec-28-15 03:25 PM

2505496, Depends on route combinations but the biggest hole in cover 2 is.. Posted by LA2Philly, Mon Dec-28-15 03:34 PM
Between the corner and safety so you'll see a lot of sideline routes attacking that area of the field with an underneath route to occupy the corner and tucking a route underneath the safety...or often times since you have a safety deep, you will see 2 deep routes attacking a safety and forcing safeties to make decisions. The problem last night as Dst alluded to, Ben got beaten up and was often having to throw before routes developed and he wasn't able to use his eyes to manipulate coverage (tends to happen when you're concerned about getting hit by a 300+ dude lol).

2505611, Baltimore knows Ben is impatient Posted by legsdiamond, Tue Dec-29-15 06:19 AM
and he wont check down all game.
