2480889, Ugh MKG hurt again
Posted by ShawndmeSlanted, Sat Oct-03-15 08:25 PM
Hopefully it isn't as bad as it sounds since it's a shoulder injury.

@MaryStevensNBA: I just saw Michael Kidd-Gilchrist being taken out of the locker room in a stretcher. Not good for Charlotte.
2480901, Here's the playboy happened on
Posted by ShawndmeSlanted, Sat Oct-03-15 09:13 PM
Looks like it could be a broken arm the way the impact happened.

2480903, there are preseason games on already? damn
Posted by Basaglia, Sat Oct-03-15 09:19 PM
i'm really out of the loop right now.
2480905, These 2 games tonight were actually not on TV
Posted by ShawndmeSlanted, Sat Oct-03-15 09:38 PM
they were on the internet through random streams.

Tonight there are some NBATV games
2480913, Damn.....damn...damn.
Posted by TheRealBillyOcean, Sat Oct-03-15 11:08 PM
These games snuck up on me too. League Pass already hit me with the autopay.
2480915, RE: Damn.....damn...damn.

Supposedly X-rays negative
2480937, He'll be fine, probably just strained it landing funny/spreading out.
Posted by ConcreteCharlie, Sun Oct-04-15 10:26 AM
I would be shocked if that were a major injury
2480941, Didn't look serious based on the mechanism of the contact
Posted by LA2Philly, Sun Oct-04-15 10:31 AM
If his hand was outstretched and he came down onto it, then you're concerned about compressive forces which can break bones...he slammed his forearm/hand down pretty hard but it was still flat so it will definitely hurt, but it takes a whole lot of force to have that type of fall cause a break.
2480947, The arm isn't broken but shoulder is dislocated
Posted by ShawndmeSlanted, Sun Oct-04-15 10:47 AM
I thought it might be a freak break cause generally you don't need a stretcher for a dislocated shoulder but they were maybe just being extra cautious
2480950, Nooooooo! They need him to be the all the 33-win team they can be!
Posted by ConcreteCharlie, Sun Oct-04-15 10:54 AM
2480977, RE: Nooooooo! They need him to be the all the 33-win team they can be!
Posted by southphillyman, Sun Oct-04-15 12:29 PM
sucks for him
but yea this is important for okagenda purposes only
2481006, They were like 5-20 without him last yr
Posted by ShawndmeSlanted, Sun Oct-04-15 01:10 PM
25-26 with.

Pretty big difference. Besides they just paid him 40 mil

With him they'll win more than 33 this year even in the slightly improved east.
2481091, RBO has pointed this out multiple times, I am aware
Posted by ConcreteCharlie, Sun Oct-04-15 03:08 PM
That's why I said they need him to be the 33-win team they can be. And yeah sadly that might squeak out an 8 seed but I don't think so this year. I think it will be 38 wins and up. An exclusive club lol
2480972, i didn't know they had batum. so glad i ain't play survivor
Posted by Basaglia, Sun Oct-04-15 12:18 PM
2481003, How'd you get so far behind?
Posted by ShawndmeSlanted, Sun Oct-04-15 01:08 PM
Not like you fell off and don't watch sports or post anymore? You jut prioritizing ncaab and football right now?
2481435, dogg, i have a nine-month-old...i'm just not adjusting well.
Posted by Basaglia, Mon Oct-05-15 02:10 PM

i just missed all of homecoming weekend, because i went to a playdate party on saturday, got home at 7 and then my head felt all cloudy and old, so i fell asleep and woke up near midnight and said "forget it."

i ain't been to no movies. i ain't been watching full games. i barely read up on my fave teams and players. i prioritize duke recruiting because that's my only thick and thin squad, but that's about it.

like, y'all woulda been mad if i had played this year, because i wasn't gonna pay attention my team at all.

2481432, Damn Woj says Surgery needed --will be out 6 mos.
Posted by ShawndmeSlanted, Mon Oct-05-15 01:58 PM

2481464, jeez...sounds like when Brian Quick tore up his shoulder...
Posted by Dstl1, Mon Oct-05-15 02:57 PM
they initially thought his career could be over. Dr. Andrews said it was one of the worst he'd ever seen.
2481437, damn. at least he's still young
Posted by Rjcc, Mon Oct-05-15 02:11 PM

2481991, Karma for D-Rose running Trains? Nah, that would be me getting a invoice for dildp reimbursement.
Posted by TheRealBillyOcean, Wed Oct-07-15 09:32 AM

2481993, i was bout to say...how he on getback cause HIS MAN a freak-bamma?
Posted by Basaglia, Wed Oct-07-15 09:46 AM
2481438, that's fine. ain't like harrison barnes widening the gap or anything.
Posted by Basaglia, Mon Oct-05-15 02:12 PM
RBO, we can withstand that mighty 13 and 5 from Stiff Hips this season.
2481442, I skimmed some Lowe article talking about Harrison's next contract...
Posted by TheRealBillyOcean, Mon Oct-05-15 02:18 PM
almost threw my phone
2481446, he turned down a pretty good offer already supposedly...be mad
Posted by southphillyman, Mon Oct-05-15 02:26 PM
barnes was labeled the most intriguing free agent for '16 by lowe
bwhahahahahahahah
meanwhile mkg getting shitty bargain deals when he's injury prone, smh
2481461, On the court, MKG is still good while Harry hoops like 38 yr Sean Elliott
Posted by TheRealBillyOcean, Mon Oct-05-15 02:50 PM
2481453, it pays to be the most hyped prospect in a decade
Posted by Basaglia, Mon Oct-05-15 02:38 PM
people STILL waiting on him to be a superstar.
2481462, He even mentioned that in the article like it was a positive
Posted by TheRealBillyOcean, Mon Oct-05-15 02:51 PM

2481673, They won't.
Posted by ThaTruth, Tue Oct-06-15 08:35 AM

2481503, God hates the Hornets...
Posted by jdevolve1, Mon Oct-05-15 04:40 PM
But whatever, fuck it. Start Lamb, slide Baum to his natural position. At least we'll have decent floor spacing. It just sucks knowing that we have to rely on PJ Hairston to be in the regular rotation now...
2481520, this might be the most watchable thing about the horcats
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Mon Oct-05-15 05:43 PM
> rely on PJ Hairston to be in the

cause lord know it aint the good basketball
