So you're cool with getting hosed for no reason? That makes absolutely no sense.

You ride it out, see what he can do until the end of the contract and then go from there.

Trading him for pennies on the dollar accomplishes absolutely nothing. It ain't like you're freeing up space to bring in a superstar. You'd still be biding time until whatever bad contract you received is off the books.

There is no logical argument for trading him now. It's a 100% emotional response with no rational backing.
