Posted by cgonz00cc, Thu Jul-02-15 05:12 PM
Leaving sacto is a bp anyways lol
2462262, I still think he's a role player/6th man type.
Posted by gmltheone, Thu Jul-02-15 11:50 AM
Just glad that we got him for nothing and he's not a center. LOL

Same as it ever was!
2462270, COOL
Posted by bshelly, Thu Jul-02-15 11:56 AM
we got him for absolutely nothing. if his destiny is fringe starter or 6th man on a really good team, i'll take that seven days of the week.
2462343, Same here...

Not a knock tho. He'll get some PT here and some stability at coach. He may get some summer league run after the moratorium clears.

Same as it ever was!
2462523, The one big knock was his shooting FG @ 36.5% last year...
Posted by mtbatol, Fri Jul-03-15 06:14 AM
and 31% 3pt

Being a stat nerd he actually shot 42% FG + over 40% 3pt from March towards end of season, which shows some adjustments to the pro game.

I'm quite excited to see the coaching staff further develop him just as Noel developed to be more competent on offense than any of us thought was possible. Having Oak tree kick out to him is quite an exciting thought... and we only had to dump off 2lbs of sliced apples from Wawa.
2462560, im excited about the PnR possibilities
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Jul-03-15 11:04 AM
His soph year at UM he was like a top 5 PPP as the PnR ballhandler, mostly because his defender was forced to go over the top ov every screen and hes a very capable passer with a sneaky handle

Hes going to a much better situation than he was in
2462787, lol

2462520, Welcome aboard the Hinke-Express ( ^_^)-b
Posted by mtbatol, Fri Jul-03-15 06:07 AM
....how many are we taking on this train?
2462565, Uh, OKP Michigan contingent has stayed 'cysing him, no?
Posted by ConcreteCharlie, Fri Jul-03-15 11:53 AM
But I have no objections because I LOVE this trade. This is Hinkie's best move since the Jrue trade, in terms of outright value it might be even better.
2462567, The fun part will be rooting against Sac-Town to be shitty for years
Posted by mtbatol, Fri Jul-03-15 12:06 PM
and if Hinke goes after a PG to make us a playoff contender, the possibility of us snatching their draft pick.

I mean, who do Cousins have around him? lol, this will be interesting yo
2462571, Yup, having the option to switch picks with them in 16/17 is so sweet
Posted by ConcreteCharlie, Fri Jul-03-15 12:30 PM
Now we don't *have* to actively suck necessarily, we can let someone else suck for us. But I think we will still suck plenty this year.

I'm interested to see what they do with Landry and Thompson's contracts. Two years left on each, I think. Maybe keep for now and flip after the season?
2462655, I'm seeing 25-30 wins as a very likely thing
Posted by mtbatol, Fri Jul-03-15 09:30 PM
Okafor alone will get us 7 more wins IMO... Wroten while not a world beater elite PG, is -something- that would be well... better than Canaan or Ish Smith(?). Pierre Jackson staying healthy & making the cut would be a huge wildcard in all things considering competent PG play goes.
2463042, i am officially worried about the bucks
Posted by JAESCOTT777, Sun Jul-05-15 09:57 AM
They are going to be a serious problem next year
2463211, yeah they are gonna be a tough out in them 'offs
Posted by ConcreteCharlie, Mon Jul-06-15 01:34 AM
i think they could win a series.

i dont think their win total will spike because they played over their heads for the early part of last year, but it will increase and be more solid in the process.
2503021, dumping all this shit. he sorry. all hope is lost. FUCK!

2503050, He's been the worst sixer.
Posted by bshelly, Sat Dec-19-15 08:20 AM
On this team, he's the worst player.

I still think there's some hope long term if he gets stronger and rediscovers his shot. But right now he's unplayable
