If the Heat come up before pick 10, you know someone in the bottom 5 moved up into the top 3, so that's one top 3 team moving down between 1-3 spots. If another team in the bottom 12 moves up, that's a real possibility the Lakers are knocked out of the top 5.

If the Lakers come up on pick 7 or 6, you know Philly gets one of those. If the Lakers haven't come up by pick 6, then...nope.
