On an NHL level, Bruins still were nowhere near Philly or likely the Rangers either.
Bigger than Isles (by that point), Devils (always) or Caps (same).
Spent some time up in Boston also during when Borque was winning the Cup with the Avalanche and certain misguided diehards were acting like he was winning that Cup for Boston which to me felt weird but c'est la vie.
That place is a baseball town through and through, with probably the Bruins having the most loyal niche base out of the rest and well now Brady/Belasterisk with the NFL just swallowing competition everywhere in general.
