Ball is snapped and my boy just needs to cover the WR as he did well all game. When the game horn sounds my boy abandons his coverage, takes off his helmet and throws it while running to the side line ready to celebrate the win.....not so much.
The apposing QB tosses a 30 yard dart to the WR sitting in the endzone all alone. Ball game, we lose, season over. My boy cried on the field like a little baby. He thought the game ended when the horn sounded. The look on his face when he realized what just happened I will never forget.

To this day we still give him hell about that game that was almost 20 years a go.
