if you changed your lineups around he could be your fourth guard and your whatever forward and you'd use your minutes more efficiently.
the only way it wouldn't help your team is if you are already committed to having shitty forward points all season because there will be 1.1 and 1.2 forwards on waivers. maybe even some 1.3 forwards.
