2358900, PHILLY! Luv whole teams story/style of play but her star burns brightest

Would love to see Taney take the whole thing, that would be incredible, better than any movie you could write.

My little man stealing home for the fourth run the other night had me dancing.

Love these kids, especially this young girl out there breaking em down from that 40-foot distance.

All in on this squad til the final out in Williamsport.
2358935, They're definitely a breath of fresh air and incredibly fun to

2359790, DRAGONS OF DESTINY!!!

My first daughter's name has officially been changed to Fiona Mo'Ne.

I love this team, this brand of baseball (errors & all today's game vs TX was far more fun to watch than literally every MLB game I've seen) and especially this little girl.

You can tell Taney follows her lead too, she's calm/loose or emotionless if she's not smiling.

Those Texas kids were having severe composure issues out there, if that kid crying on the mound while pitching had thrown one more ball at the end of the 4th or 5th then they wouldn't have even needed final ups.

Can't wait til Wednesday, Mo'Ne back on the mound!

These kids are gonna win this whole thing, it's too late to stop this storybook ending now.
2359855, yeah it made me wonder about that Texas team

They kept having problems with staying composed. Wonder if the crying pitcher does that often when things arent going perfectly. I was surprised the coach left him in but maybe he's just one of those kids. "oh chase is crying again, he'll get thru it". And they nutted up big time in that last inning. The left fielder didn't make a good play on that hit to the wall, then the shortstop throw. Still was a great game.
2359940, Mighta been the annoying coach had em on edge, he didnt shut up all game

I always hated when some old spaz Little League dad would have to be giving me a bunch of instructions right before I was stepping into the box.

Man, go talk to your son and let me go hit.
2359791, Quite sure the colleges will be beating her door down for softball
Posted by Beezo, Sun Aug-17-14 09:02 PM
real soon.
2359793, Her IQ means she can probably beast in just about any sport.
Posted by Orbit_Established, Sun Aug-17-14 09:11 PM

She's probably fully grown physically, but she has
good height.

The big thing w/ her is form, her discipline, intelligence.
That's a gift. She is more professional and disciplined
than boys raised by pushy dads to be pitchers from birth.

She listens well....no reason she can't be a WNBA point
guard if she really wants. She can probably beast at soccer.

It may/may not be softball with her.

2359942, I'm confused here, O_Dawg

How is she done growing when she just turned 13?

And if so how does she have great height?
2359797, more opp to shine n basketball
Posted by ShawndmeSlanted, Sun Aug-17-14 09:19 PM
2359801, Yeah, in Philly there's zero chance she avoids basketball.
Posted by Orbit_Established, Sun Aug-17-14 09:41 PM

And with her IQ, calm and love of competition, she
could be excellent at it if she wants
