He's going to spend the rest of his major league career an unlucky month away from pitching for the Long Island Ducks. Tell Fredi Gonzalez that only hypnotized Reggie Jackson is taking you out of this game.

like, he was up there throwin like a 25 year old man at 14

Saying "makes sense...sounds like he wasn't pitching that well, really". Also "Greg's (Maddux) problem was that he threw too many damn strikes".

Especially since I thought he was seriously considering retirement last year. He had a solid enough career as a #3 to #5 starter, and a no-hitter to end his career sure would have been sweet.

finished 4th in Cy Young voting in 2007. But unfortunately just fell apart after that season. Always seemed like a good dude though so I still root for him.
