i was watching the end of that game at a restaurant w/ the fam and when he was arguing about that extra second, i said, 'watch it come back to bite him'. i thought he'd throw a hail mary and it would get INTd and run back for a td. but this is about the same.
good that could happen:
- make the fg
- get penalty and retry fg
bad that could happen:
- blocked FG (previous attempt was blocked) retd for a td
- FG short and ret'd for a td
kicker missed the one prior to the blocked one. nothing i saw would have led me to believe he could make a very long, and super high pressure kick.
oh well.
