the tech next to me gets off a fine and dandy "good morning" when he comes in the door, but if I try to ask him something before he has a Pepsi, he gives me a befuddled, glassy-eyed zombie stare.

And when I drop off a report on another coworker's desk in the morning, she pleasantly says "thank you, wonderful," but if I attempt a question or any other conversation, she gives me a death stare like I just cut her off in traffic.

I guess they're getting work done, though!
