3rd in MVP voting. Only the fact that Durant and Lebron play his position, kept him off first team all NBA, but he was one of the 5 best basketball players in the world this year.
"Irrelevant"? And "another irrelevant season" at that? For Melo? Yeah, there's something there a little deeper. I guess I'll chalk it up to Sixers-Knicks rivalry stuff? I didn't realize it ran that deep since they haven't met in the playoffs in almost 30 years, mainly because its rare that both teams make it in the same year. But that's gotta be it.
