Told him his stuff used to be good but now his eye is trained to be cynical and his writing is suffering for it.
He sent me a long-winded reply about how he gets these kind of messages all the time and that if he catered to everyone he'd never be able to get his own thoughts out. Mark shit. I haven't read that thing since Thanksgiving.
