They correctly identified a lot of holes in the story

and also the Ronaiah (?) dude as the one behind the Lennay on line account

but that entire article was directed at Manti

not Ronaiah

I think they may have been heavy handed with accusing Manti intially

it would have been easy enough to just present the facts that they had

without going all in on a Manti was behind this theory

I think a lot of the disbelief coming from the public is because of the tone of that article

myself, having watched Catfish

it's not that far fetched

that he fell for the Lennay angle

and then kept up appearance with some of his own lies
