his handling of his family/marriage, his railroading anyone who challenged him, the cumbersome and ever growing accounts of how he cheated and how he covered it up, his public ninnying, his thieving in the name of charity, etc.

i said probably five years ago that he needed to keep his good name as long as possible to keep the money coming in. anyone who thought he was some inspirational philanthropist was only guilty of what most con victims are guilty of: wanting to believe something good.
