I get that most people didn't see that part, but as soon as the game ended, he went in to "I'm not a judge, but he's never been convicted of anything and we should be proud of him." That part was posted on Twitter by I think ESPN (they weren't highlighting that part specifically, but it was part of the video) and that got people talking.
