they want him to sign a deal that let's them recoup money if he doesn't pan out, fuck that. The NFL is a shitshow in how they treat players compared to MLB and NBA. The way the pay structure and non-guaranteed deals in the NFL work the player is always right when they want to hold out/re-negotiate IMO.
