iran yesterday, u.s.a. today ... snatching disappointment from the jaws of elation!

i'm always conflicted with u.s. soccer. on one hand it feels natural to root for them. on the other, the last thing i need is them to actually succeed, sheesh, i'm sick enough of soccer when it's fake popular, i don't need to be really be a thing in america!

i'm starting to get more excited about colombia's chances though. i'll be down there during all the elimination play, it's going to be fucking crazy if they make a legit run.
