No one said melo is above the team. We said he's the best player on the team. That's not even debatable. Can melo improve in various facets of his game? sure. Can the knicks do a better job of putting capable players around melo? absolutely.
that he doesn't play efficient offense?
who on the knicks does? JR? Bargs? Felton? Shump? you want Melo to shoot less so that who can get more shots? Its not like Felton would be creating all these scoring opps for others if he had a chance.
