Sitting in desert hot and high
so they take the sun out the sky
and the rest of the world is suddenly dark

they play games and dare one another
to put their tongues to the flare
and laugh and giggle,
juggle and jiggle,

they accidentally drop it,
quickly pick it up, one keeps it in their pocket
it burns through, they dont know what else to do,
they hold it up to light another blunt

How careless we can be with things that we need the most. When I read this, don't know why but I imagined Titans as children...an image akin to Jackson 5 in the video "Can you Feel It." lol I don't know why but it came to mind as I was reading this.
