Watched it with the wife on Friday night. About 20 minutes in was the first tell at the screen WTF moment. I feel like right after that they said that they were members of the Church of LDS, and I was like, “Oh, of course.” All of that shit was classic manipulation that could very easily happen to LDS members in the ‘70s.
