Thanks for posting this and for the kind words. Truthfully, I haven't seen the movie yet and, since the road to a movie's completion is an insanely complicated one, I don't know what's been changed and what hasn't. Here's what I do know:
- the last draft I turned in was a fun, twisty thriller with a sense of humor and a strong feminist slant at the end
- the director has worked on several terrific movies and has a great eye for imagery, so even if the suits messed with the script/story, the movie should *look* great
- the cast lines up more or less with how I pictured all the characters, which is, needless to say, a great feeling
- it should be, at bare minimum, a fun movie to crack open a bottle of wine and have a good time with-- which, ultimately, was the primary goal
Maybe I'll post some drinking game rules before it airs, lol. But yeah, if anyone/everyone could watch it or at bare minimum tweet some support the night of, that'd certainly help grease the wheels for future Longo Lifetime stuff. Thanks again, everyone. Love you all.
