731978, this looks incredible...Rockwell's Bush is almost as impressive as Bale

He managed to pull off the look really well with very little change to his normal appearance.
731989, Bale is such a beast

Can't wait, everyone looks great. But him and Rockwell? seems like they got W. and Dick down packed.
732710, Very good

I gotta sit with this for a minute but man McKay is on fire. I hope he keeps making political dramedies for the rest of his career.
732711, he really owns this lane.

Everything just felt like a mismatch for me. The Cheneys as characters are simply not interesting at all. The 'documentary special' style used here didn't do anything for me--neither did the voice-over narration. Everything was just meh.

733526, I finished it, but mostly felt the same. Didn't like it.

Surprised that after The Big Short, which balanced everything but still felt very personal and intimate, that he made a movie which, despite the narrator device, still plays out like The Biopic Laundry List Of Events with very little attempt to develop character. Not sure what the alternative is when the character is such a humorless evil prick, but hey, it's a problem in the movie imo.
736817, yeah this made it hard to sit through.

way too ham fisted.
