The child actors playing the Losers were great, especially the kid from Stranger Things and the girl playing Beverly.

I thought the new Pennywise was effectively menacing.

Sure there were lots of jump scares but I was okay with that. I jumped.

Only minor gripe was that of all the Losers, I don't think they gave quite enough screen time to the one black kid. He's introduced early on, and we don't really see him again until like forty minutes into the movie.

On IMDB a lot of the reviews complain about the heavy CGI in the movie. Eh, it didn't really bother me at all.

I will say that the opening scene is great and sets a really dark, sinister tone that the rest of the movie doesn't quite live up to.

Still this is very enjoyable and worth watching at the theater.
