The kids do a good job. I liked all of them. No one says anything particularly cringy.
The clown is good. It's a monster from the beginning, so none of the weirdly effective creepy corniness of Tim Curry's clown. Gets a little digital at times. There's nothing particularly original about any of the scares, but it's well-made.
This isn't The Shining. It's not Misery. But it's a good movie, between a b minus and a solid b.
