opposed to just jumping in feet-first and logic-free with nothing but ACTION! ACTION! ACTION! and all-out silliness.
Sometimes the best storytelling is done when shit is SET UP and then BUILT UP, rather than having various "campy" moments play out for no reason, simply because people want the show to "go out with a bang."
But that ain't none of my business, tho.
