637587, The Nick Kroll Show or Kroll Show or whatever it's called.

Anybody peep this yet?

I like Nick Kroll.

Not that much a fan of his standup though.

But this shit sucked.

I didn't laugh once.

I'm a give it one more try.

And some dudes have the nerve to hate on Key & Peele. Shit is like night and day.
637592, I loved the mix tape opening bit
Posted by SoulHonky, Mon Jan-14-13 07:44 PM
After that... yeah. Besides being far more miss than hit, all of the bits felt like they were a few years past their expiration date (Sex and the City, fairly basic send-up of reality show snobs, South Beach diet)

As for the SATC for Guy bit, it struck me like something they shot improv style, it didn't pan out, and then they tried to salvage it via editing and the constant yelling/title "Sex and the City for Guys!" (but they still didn't salvage it.)

I might check out a couple more episodes on Hulu but it's definitely a "If there's nothing else..." option right now.
637593, Completely unintersted.

That dude is comedy cumin.
637596, Damn. He's fucking amazing on Comedy Bang Bang.

But the one promo I saw did make it seem behind the pop culture pulse.
637614, It was pretty good
Posted by mrshow, Mon Jan-14-13 09:57 PM
Seemed a bit too Tim and Eric in its style but I think it'll find its own voice in a few episodes.
637627, I thought the ref bit was funny
Posted by cereffusion, Tue Jan-15-13 10:35 AM
but I only saw two other sketches.
638088, Agreed re: ref skit
Posted by budz4zo, Fri Jan-18-13 07:52 PM
I think the red skit was the only funny part of the show. The rest was just garbage
637897, Well, I liked it
Posted by Marauder21, Thu Jan-17-13 10:13 AM
Wheels Ontario killed it.
637902, I liked the ref bit and the canadian show, the rest was garbage
Posted by Y2Flound, Thu Jan-17-13 10:20 AM
637912, The dudes hanging out and Canadian show were hilarious
Posted by B9, Thu Jan-17-13 11:29 AM
A bit too close to home with the dudes hanging out, and the title/recurring "Sex in the City" thing wasn't apt, but fucking hilarious. "DIVIDING A CHECK WITH 8 CREDIT CARDS!"

And the Degrassi skit, with all the kids in wheelchairs was good.

Didn't like the PubLizsity thing, but I haven't liked that character before, and the San Diego Diet didn't make sense. He's just scratched the surface of his funnier characters.
637938, I laughed and I was mad about that.

637945, canadian high school was pretty sharp.
Posted by cereffusion, Thu Jan-17-13 02:24 PM
637967, I could have sworn I'd seen that bit before
Posted by SoulHonky, Thu Jan-17-13 03:57 PM
It was alright but it gave me serious deja vu.
638167, Yup.

From the soundtrack to the credits to the intro. "Here we Go". Wheels Ontario is the best thing to come out of it.

I can't believe the overwhelming negativity of the response in here. I loved it. Ref Jeff and the way he walked and ran. The Publizity was dead on. I laughed all the way through with the exception at the overlong and unfocused Sex in The City for Dudes, but even then some of the edits in that one had a Tim & Eric humor to them.

I think the best part is the satire and Nick Kroll's character work, which has always been his strong point.
637957, I liked the Liz reality show thing
Posted by YaBoy...Holla@ME, Thu Jan-17-13 03:21 PM
But it was almost too good of a satire to where it felt like I was just watching the Hills instead of a skit skewering the Hills. But then again that voice he made when he was crying about cupcakes killed me.

Side note, was the other Liz ole girl who got fired for swearing on SNL?

The Ref bit was the best, overall it was a pretty good ep, I'll stay tuned
637964, Yes, it was Jenny Slate

>Side note, was the other Liz ole girl who got fired for
>swearing on SNL?

638004, holy shit that was awful
Posted by walihorse, Thu Jan-17-13 07:59 PM
the dubstep for each commercial break was annoying

I'm waiting until I see Chupacabra make an appearance, but yeah, this show is maybe the unfunniest thing on television. It makes Two And A Half Men look like Louie.
638182, i like him in the League but the show looks terrible
Posted by gumz, Sun Jan-20-13 05:07 PM
638624, funny again
Posted by Big Chief Rumbletummy, Fri Jan-25-13 04:25 PM

killing the reality TV parodies.
638625, i thought it was funny.
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Fri Jan-25-13 04:29 PM
638687, hilarious to me
Posted by Government Name, Sat Jan-26-13 02:44 PM
638733, no one is satirizing reality tv like this shit
Posted by dba_BAD, Sun Jan-27-13 09:32 PM
or tv in general, right now

tell me im wrong

i dont love it all the time or think its hilarious all the time, but its pointed
638737, The Bobby B./Chelsea Peretti skit was pretty funny.
Posted by JFrost1117, Sun Jan-27-13 10:21 PM
Didn't know CP had an ass like that.
638765, right? that sketch was revelatory
Posted by B9, Mon Jan-28-13 11:42 AM
642063, show is hit or miss to me but that young billy joel shit was gold.
Posted by al_sharp, Sun Feb-24-13 06:30 PM
