as one of the notable performances of 2010 movies. Now, not exactly top 5 great but 6-10 slot worthy. (And, sure, he's better in Michael Clayton, Out of Sight, etc.) The tired and rightly paranoid qualities impressively expressed through his eyes and face. I'm not discounting the possibility that my attraction towards minimalist roles and performances is clouding my evaluation. Along with listening, watching another actor is more difficult than it looks, and Jack/Edward watching hot-ass Mathilde and supernova-hot-ass Clara in trying to get a read on them was a joy to watch.
