At this point, anyone watching LOST this long shouldn't even complain.
It's not like that clusterfuck Heroes has turned into. I realized
in season 4 that LOST is a rollercoaster... if you spend your time waiting for it to end, you can't enjoy the ride.

Outside the last ten minutes with Sun/Jin and Kate/Claire having the 'Not Without My Baby!' moment. (as said above, probably the worst minutes the show ever filmed)

Alternate universe was pretty entertaining, and I think I love the Sawyer/Miles buddy cop show. LOL@the garden hose tripwire.

In 'reality' it for the first time this season having the survivors finally realize "Hey, maybe the Undead demon guy running around in Locke's body might be a bad thing. Let's NOT do what he says."

It's also interesting how it kinda looks like there is a good chance Sayiid didn't kill Desmond, which is good on one hand because the zombie Sayiid was getting played, but still kinda doesn't seem true to the character after his heel turn.

What I Liked:

* The flash sideways are finally coming together
* Finally! Jin and Sun are reunited!
* Desmond appealing to Sayid and possibly converting him back from the Dark Side…at least momentarily
* Jack’s jumping off Sawyer’s boat after he’s given a “You’re on Team Sawyer or you’re off”
* LA X Sun freaking out when she saw Locke
* Sawyer calling Lapidus “that pilot who looks like he stepped off the set of a Burt Reynolds movie” and “Chesty”
* notLocke revealing he was the one on the island walking around as Christian Shepard
* Kate’s speech to convince Crazy Claire not to shoot her and to leave the island with them.

What I Didn’t Like:

* LA X Sawyer’s conversation with Kate about continuing to run into one another was a little too on the nose
* Lapidus ruining Sun and Jin’s emotional reunion with the worst line ever: “Looks like someone got their voice back.”
* While I thought Evangeline Lilly did an amazing job in her plea to Claire, I still wanted her to shoot
* While Sawyer and Kate have witnessed Claire’s crazy, I find it hard to believe that Hurley and, especially, Jack would abandon Claire because Sawyer said so

* How messed up is ABC for implying that Sayid shot Desmond in their preview for this episode?
* Did Sayid shoot Desmond? If not, did he leave him down there?
* Is it still possible for Sayid and Claire to be turned back from the dark side?
* Who is David’s, Jack’s son, mother?
* Did Desmond know what he was doing when he brought Claire to Ilana?
* Why did Widmore renege on his deal with Sawyer?
* How did Team Widmore miss notLocke that badly is that had a clear shot and he didn’t move? I know it wouldn’t have killed him but they missed him by a good 7 feet
* Why did LA X Sun freak out when she saw Locke at the hospital?

why the fuck is the finale on a sunday?

couple things:

1) did smokey inhabit christian's body? because he didn't inhabit locke's. i guess he could've taken christian's form and then done away with the body so as to convince jack that christian had indeed abandoned his coffin. but i'm not feeling that, smokey. if you have an s.o.p., then stick to it, dude.

2) i get that smokey can get around fast and s***, which works in the instances that christian showed up to tell locke to turn the donkey wheel and stuff. but what about appearing to michael on the freighter? what about appearing to jack in the hospital lobby? what about bob?

If the Smoke Monster was actually Christian, then appearing to Michael on the freighter kinda proves that he can actually leave the island whenever he wants. Fuck a plane/boat/submarine.

Although, he's probably been giving half-truths this whole season, I'm inclined to believe he is telling the truth about NOT being able to become smoke and travel across the water. In fact, that reveal came the same episode when Zoe asked Jin to show them the pockets of EM energy around the island. I think that was purposeful, as if the source of the smoke monster's form has something to do with him being "tied" to the physical land of the island, and thereby the energy pockets. Hence Widmore needing Desmond for some reason. I could be wrong. But there aren't any pockets - presumably - in the water. And besides, if he could turn to smoke over water, why bother to go to Hydra island for a plane, he could just fly away to the mainland or wherever "home" is.

Also, when "Christian" appeared to Michael, the whispers were heard. And in spite of what dead-Michael told Hurley last week, the whispers up until that point almost always accompanied the appearance of the Others (i.e., Harper appearing to Juliet, the Others taking Cindy the stewardess, Ben telling a young Rousseau that if she ever hears whispers to run the other way). Methinks that the "Christian" that appeared to Michael was something else.

My theory is that the Man in Black, Jacob (?), and something else (?) have all been using the "Christian" identity at various points. We still don't know who else Hurley saw (the eye peeking through the window) in Jacob's cabin besides Christian.

We'll see.

MiB did portray himself as Christian on occassions, but that it was also Christian himself in others, which would explain the missing corpse.

I think he is seen wearing a blue suit in some scenes, and a brown suit in others.

I was watching with a few friends... I woke up in the middle of the episode and everyone was sleep. This is really going down hill.

all i'm asking for is halfway interesting filler episodes.

Am I missing something obvious? Wouldn't Widmore and crew think that that might be a bad idea considering they don't know where Desmond is and there is a chance that he might be stashed at the spot that they decided to hit as a warning to Smokey Locke?

Sheila Kelley is horrible as Zoe.

The series' corny love moments (e.g., Sun and Jin reunite; Hurley's monologue about Chahlie's death) / moments of heart would've probably gone down better with me if they didn't have such overwrought music accompanying them.

I agree that Ilana the lawyer is hotter than the Jacob disciple version.

Still anticipating the series finale though: to see if it's going to be another Through the Looking Glass, if it's going to be meh, or if it's going to be a whaaat? that kinda sucked.
