Go out with some dignity? This reminds me of when Facts of Life turned from a gourmet food shop to a spencers-like gift shop. Or when Different Strokes added the cute new white kid and the new wife. Or Valerie turned into Valrie's Family to the Hogan Family. Any other examples?
