To be honest, as a highly educated black man I have no problem
with the Madea films. Madea didn't cause any of the problems
in my community, at all, and anyone who suggests that needs to
provide me proof. If they can't provide me proof, they're an
idiot. Our problems run far deeper than a Tyler Perry film,
and the solutions have nothing to do with not watching Tyler
Perry. Again - anyone who suggests otherwise is an idiot.

Movies are supposed to be fun. If you don't think TP is
funny, that's fine(I do).

But all of the other stuff about social responsibility is
completely unfounded and asinine.

Not only should Tyler Perry be able to make what he wants,
he actually happens to be very socially responsible as a
person.

He is, as you (don't) know producing this film that
is getting early Oscar buzz:

Not even Kevin Smith's fans like his movies, and his films
are almost the definition of "trite." They are about nothing,
and aren't funny.

Perry is a man with a vision, who works hard, and has a
good product that is sellable and bankable. Its great.
