I don't ignore them, I just don't think he gets a pass for it, like you do. He's not making movies about himself. If he was then I might be able to overlook the poor quality because of the good message, this is not the case.

You and I disagree here. I'm not ignoring anything, I've seen ALL of his movies. I found all of them trite and unsatisfying with the exception of TFTPT. I do however like a fair amount of Kevin Smiths movies, which you seem to hate, so perhaps we just have different tastes. It doesn't make your opinion suspect, nor mine
