(Kobayashi): Human Condition Trilogy
(Ichikawa): Fires On the Plain
(Powell & Pressburger): 49th Parallel
(Wajda): Kanal; Ashes and Diamonds (Generation is the 1st in this trilogy, but I'm not too fond of it)
