i think seeing this in a large theater full of laughing people vs watching anchorman alone on dvd helped, as did the fact that this cast was imo more professional and seasoned than anchorman's 'hey dudes, i'm making a movie! wanna be in it?' cast
gary cole absolutely KILLED as reese bobby. "hey ricky! boy, you got big! what's it been, 3 or 4 months?" LOL
