Really good. I'm not a big biopic guy, but this mostly avoids the traps and really allows the characters to breathe and develop as real human beings. You might think this is the "Elvis Is A Creep" Movie, and while it definitely doesn't shy away from that, there's also sympathy for Elvis within. Feels like the rare biopic where having the subject on board as an executive producer makes the biopic even *better,* because I'm sure Priscilla's feelings on everything with Elvis are. very complicated, so it makes for a complicated movie without easy answers or broad strokes painted.

It also looks gorgeous, as all of Coppola's movies do, and the two leads are really terrific. The leading actress is one of the few I've ever seen to genuinely and realistically depict the entire age range from 14 to 30 without ever looking too old or too young to pull it off.

Ultimately think it's one of the best biopics of the last decade or so, and I hope it's not overlooked come awards season. It's certainly better than Luhrmann's Elvis imo (albeit very very different).
