3011033, The New 'R&B/Soul by Black Women' Post

In a world where millions fawn over the Adeles of the world while people like Tamia, Alice Smith and Jazmine Sullivan keep getting looked over, or don't get enough props, I'd like center modern BLACK female R&B/Soul singers and their new music:

*ahem*

* Alice Smith dropped a new song, "House of the Rising Sun," in August 2018.

* Andreya Triana dropped a new song, "Woman" that BBC just debuted on the radio. Pre-orders are now active for her Triana's new album, Life In Colour. The expected release date is in February 2019

*This is not super new but it appears Adriana Evans dropped some new-new last year:

It is so good! I am trying to pick up a CD copy, but it isn't necessarily easy to grab.

I can't wait til her next album drops! https://www.youtube.com/user/osmojam

I browsed through my social profiles for a list of my followers and dug up this crop of talented leading ladies of Black R&B/Soul. They've all got new music and are worth checking for imo:

Sulpacio Jones
Melba Moore
Deborah Bond
Memme Nelzey
Sonia Eden
Lee Mo
Menoosha
Ebony Evans
Joy Dennis

I hope this thread grows, I'm excited about the female Black Soul scene today.
