you know might've been worth it... I have an easier time of it with all that... growing up a white suburban atheist meant I could safely mess with almost anything.. my folks were hippies though so if anything guns and gi-joes were not that welcome... plus there's the catholic upbringing my folks had so some of that dies hard whether you practice and actively believe or not.. I'll try and keep my eyes out for groups that don't appear to mess with it much if at all... one group to check out would be Wo Fat they are a little more killer blues and a little less extreme metal but very much still stoner doom... this is my favorite album by them here.. I don't think there's anything overtly satanic going on really and if anything reading their lyrics they're on the side of good:
