I never heard the full length LP Lord Finesse & DJ Mike Smooth - Funky Technician.
Now it sounds dated, the beats are good but don't 'go' anywhere sometimes - the rhyming is good, but maybe too influenced by BDK.
Ton's of quotables from it, tons of music you've heard referenced or re-used after it - but an odd experience to hear it in this context.
I wonder what Criminal Minded would sound like hearing it for the first time today?
